| Which is the better card to main more of this format? Discuss.
Effect Veiler: During your opponent's Main Phase, you can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard to select 1 face-up Effect Monster your opponent controls. Negate the effect(s) of that monster until the End Phase.
Maxx "C": You can activate this effect during either player's turn by sending this card from your hand to the Graveyard. This turn, each time your opponent Special Summon a monster(s), draw 1 card. You can only activate "Maxx "C"" once per turn.

| Maxx "C" is better, it covers everything
Effect veiler is so limited so that it can only target monsters already face-up on the field, you can avoid vieler by calling priority on rescue rabbit, lonefire, etc.

| I like Maxx "C" as well. In my opinion it's a veiler in itself. If you use it at the right times it can make your opponent stop and think about if they want to give u a draw or not. Veiler must work when it's used on a face-up monster and if the monster is them gone like a sorc play u veiler and then they rose. Veiler has fell from a great card to a card that works better vs some decks than others. | |

| But then again veiler works with chaos to make arcanites or they can be used for the summoning condition of BLS or chaos sorcerer
I use them in my sacred deck to negate effects and its also an easy way to get ghost ship out.

| that's because the dreck draws like crazy and it's level 1 so the fact is veiler needs decks that run through themselves really fast more so as a slow deck with "C" can plus of a librarian play so much. | |

| One time, my friend tried to max "c" me. He decked out. I FTK'd him.
anyway Maxx "c" wouldnt be helpful though against a deck that has only 1 special summon every turn. Sure, it replaces itself, but you might be one turn later than you would want.

| "C' can be used as a veiler. In the case of tour guide first turn. Sangan or big monster. That's just a small example. | |

| what if they were going for something like OTK? which at that point C would not have helped unless you go C's and swift scarecrows or battle faders. | |
